Dr. Catherine “Katie” Talbot joined Yelm Family Medicine team in September 2021.

She earned her board certification in Family Medicine in June 2021.   She received her undergraduate degree from Cornell University and medical degree from Pacific Northwest University of Health Sciences.  She is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and the American Osteopathic Association.  She is a native to the Pacific Northwest, having been raised in Oregon.  She has special interests in women’s health and preventive medicine as well as teaching, as she used to be a French teacher prior to pursuing a career in medicine.  Outside of medicine, she enjoys traveling with her husband, skiing, hiking, running and spending time with her dogs and her horse.
