Dr. William Penn joined Yelm Family Medicine in 1984.

He is board certified in Emergency Medicine, national registered certified medical examiner for the federal motor carrier safety administration, global directory for who’s who in America, awarded distinguished citizen in state of Washington, Yelm High School sports physician, volunteer for Lacey Fire Department paramedics. He received his training at the University of Washington, Chicago Medicine School, and University of Southern California. He is a Fellow and a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians.  Dr. Penn’s special interests are family medicine, pediatrics, geriatrics, and sports medicine. He enjoys downhill skiing, competitive swimming, running, and biking.
