Angela Ames, ARNP joined Yelm Family Medicine in September of 2024.

She is a nurse practitioner certified in family medicine. She worked as a registered nurse in emergency services at St. Clare Hospital in Lakewood, WA and perioperative services at St. Peter Hospital in Olympia. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Washington and completed her Master of Science in Nursing at Simmons University in Boston, MA. She was born and raised in western Washington and has been a lifelong resident. She enjoys building relationships with patients and their families and helping them live their best life. Her special interests include preventative medicine and women’s health. When not at work, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, running, hiking, gardening, cooking and traveling.
