Angela Tobias, M.D. joined Yelm Family Medicine in May 2026.

She is board certified in Family Medicine and received her training at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas and Highland Hospital/The University of Rochester in Rochester, New York. Her clinical interests include evidence-based medical practice, preventive health and cancer screenings, women’s and LGBTQIA+ health including gender affirming care, compassionate end of life care, culturally competent care of underserved populations, promoting health education in the community, and increasing vaccination rates through education and conversation.

She grew up in rural West Texas but fell in love with the Pacific Northwest in college and got out here as soon as she could. She has lived in the Olympia/Lacey area since 2008. In her spare time enjoys cooking, cross stitch, and watching her twin sons play soccer.
